gmd128 MORROW DISK ARCHIVE
NOTE: Many of the disks listed here are not specifically for the
the Morrow MD series machines, however the boot-disks listed below here have system boot tracks for the
Morrow machine installed, even if the rest of the software is non-specific.
The 8-inch floppy Boot Disk has a system track which expects a Disk Jockey
DMA floppy disk controller. The hard drive boot disk (jx32-abcd) has a system
track which expects a HDCDMA hard disk controller.
gmd128 8-inch Floppy Disk Images
-------------------------
These disk images are designated as 'cooked'. Apart from the system tracks,
the data tracks are laid out as they are on the physical floppy: The tracks
alternate with sides 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 1, .... to track 76. Each track contains
sixteen 512-byte sectors. Thus the cpmtools can be used to read or write
files to these floppy-disk images as normal. This disk layout is the same as
with the 'gcpz' disk emulator and the utilities with 'gcpz' can be used with
the gmd128 floppy-disk images also.
